Six consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ titles, 1987 to 1992. No other car has managed that before or since, and the Integrale did it looking like a shopping hatchback that had been left out in the rain and grown muscles.
That is the reason it is on this site. Nothing about it was styled — the flared arches are there because the track got wider, the bonnet louvres are there because the engine got hotter. Function that ends up looking right is more interesting to me than a car that was drawn to look fast.
The artwork is a front-on portrait in gloss yellow, arches and louvres both doing the work, with the Lancia shield square in the middle of the grille. It runs across apparel, wall art, stickers, homeware, cases and skins, books and cards, and the kids’ range.
