This is the Porsche allegiance getting its way. The 993 is the last of the air-cooled 911s, built from 1993 to 1998, and for a lot of people it is the last one that felt like the original idea rather than a refinement of it.
Ask any 911 owner and they will explain why their particular car is the right one, so take this with the usual pinch of salt — but the 993 sits at the point where the shape had been softened just enough and the engine had not yet moved to water. Values suggest a reasonable number of people agree.
The artwork is a front-on portrait of the Carrera S in green, round headlights and that gently sloped nose. It runs from stickers, magnets and pins through to apparel, wall art, cases and skins, homeware, books and cards, and the kids’ range.
